two people you might like___
if you live in utah, these are probably two people you might like. if you ever thought you would be this uncomfortable watching two people you might like having a conversation, think again. click here, you gotta see this. then go to dave and bill (1/3/06).
two words. un. comfortable. seriously, this is heavy. funny, but not in its usually way...

I enjoyed the exchange. I have to say That O'Reilly won the debate, even though the crowd was cheering Letterman. David could not come up with any examples and showed himself uninformed when he said he did not watch the program. At least they agreed that the troops need our support and the war must be won. Look on O'Reilly's web site to read the transcript of the encounter.

Bill: 'You think I'm making this up? Then I could write for your show.'
Dave: 'I'm sure what you say is not true...I read it somewhere.'
Dave represents the classic hubris of left wing apologists. They don't look at all the facts they just read the New York Times editorials (speaking of 60% false)

paul,
i was going to say something clever but i can't. i'm sure about 60% of what you say is false. but i'm just not smart enough to debate with you about it.

watching this clip, you definately know who does it for kicks and giggles and who does it to win arguments. i have to give the "w" to old bill.
letterman, although funny and winning the support of his studio audience, simply did not have the ammunitiont to dance with o'reilly.
i was also surprised to see how little dave did to mask his disgust of o'reilly.
there was little professionalism in the exchange.

Amy and I tried to get into David Letterman's show, but I think we were screened out when I said I wasn't a fan of his cheesy keyboardist Paul. With that screening process it's a wonder that as many people clapped for O'Reilly as did. Even more kudos for Bill.

Petey, thanks for the new white stripes from Stephen's computer. Very nice.

no problem. i've been straight stripes for over a month now. each new album i explore keeps my love flame burning brighter and stronger. check out the white blood cells album if you get a chance. (russian link off the main page for "all the good music...)

paul,
i recently have obtained tickets to the colbert report. much better than letterman and colbert just may be able to dance with the o'reilly. i agree with you about the keyboardists.
how are the twins?
oh and i'm thinking about shipping the bike out....good idea?
9/1/06 6:43 PM
Good idea. You get your bike rack there and you're in business. You really are a westerner.
10/1/06 11:31 AM
if by westerner you mean sportin big ole sweet metal belt buckles for all occasions, i give an emphatic 2nd to that nomination...
as stevey's roommate AND cousin, i offer my full support to cassette fashion!
10/1/06 12:28 PM
big belt buckles. straight. sparing use of public transportation.
10/1/06 1:33 PM
oh, and anti-trendy.
10/1/06 1:38 PM
paul_
are you not the one who claimed that "anti-trendy" is trendy??
so which is stevey if he is a true westerner?
10/1/06 2:00 PM
about being anti-trendy. let's face it, don't westerners truly set the cultural standards that matter for the country?
therefore anti-trendy becomes trendy and it's hard to criticize either one...
as for big belt buckles, being straight and guzzling gas I believe stephen fits the bill.
10/1/06 4:26 PM
straight?
10/1/06 6:52 PM
i offer no response to either side of that one for you stevey. roommate and everything_
10/1/06 7:13 PM
they are boycotting brokeback mountain here in utah and so i thought it should be included as a criteria for being a westerner. it had nothing in particular to do with you.
